2018 Upchurch Cabernet Sauvignon Upchurch - USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Red Mountain (4/25/2021)
Decanted 4 hrs. Wow, this is a real charmer sporting loads of sweet cassis and mint, already showing some complexity, and utterly seamless tannins. Whatever the oak treatment, its very well judged and integrated; it doesn’t stand out at all and likely adds to the early appeal of this cab. While certainly a candidate to cellar, this is ready to roll anytime. My first Upchurch Cabernet and likely not the last. (94 pts.)

Had the 2020 last night, worth seeking out. Was quite approachable
Was my first experience with the label
I love these wines. Generally punch above their price point. Can grab this in Houston for around $55 at one of the local wine shops.

Simon and Nicholas, Thank you for for chiming in as you see little chatter on Upchurch - though recently Brandon R had some nice things to say in the ‘What WA wine are you drinking” thread.
Nicholas, I would grab as you can at $55 - they are more line $80 here in Seattle.
