TNs: PYCM, Goodfellow, Remoissenet

2018 Goodfellow Chardonnay Durant

Probably needs a bit of time. More richness than the WV with a bit more going on. Tight core of acidity. Will wait a couple years for the rough edges to be smoothed out.

2009 Remoissenet Gevrey AC

nice earth, a big lick of oak, rich, but very textured. Also needs a bit of time for the oak to integrate.

2014 PYCM Chassagne 1er Les Champs Gains

From a stash I picked up at the now defunct Dominion wine cellars, quite a place. Struck match, a bit tight initially but linear and extremely mineral, rich, beautiful citrus fruits and white peach. Very complex. Fantastic.

I had the '14 PYCM Chassagne Ancegnieres last night. Similar to your notes and also fantastic. PYCM makes great wines in any vintage but this was well beyond expectations.

we are going to Willamette this year and have Goodfellow high on the list to visit, already have a reservation. I read such good things.
