TN- Louis Jadot Moulin-à-Vent Clos de Rochegrès Château des Jacques

Really nice. This is a wine that reminds me Beaujolais is a real part of Burgundy. At 10 years old, this wine is youthful, delicious, and just starting to develop some secondary characteristics. The red fruits are very Pinot-esque with fresh red cherries and raspberries. There is a medicinal bitter quality to the fruits as well that reminds me of cough drops- this may sound negative but it keeps the wine refreshing and pairs so nicely with food. I love the balancing act between complexity and transparency here as well. Most impressively- half a bottle kept will in the fridge for 3 days showing that this bottle can last a good deal longer, I would say 5 years at least, likely 10. Great stuff!
