2014 Bergstrom Homage TN

Opened at restaurant, consumed approx an hour later over the next two hours. I like the 12, 14 and 15 vintages of Oregon Pinot Noir. This bottle showed off the 14 vintage with plenty of cherry fruit that showed off the purity of the fruit more than the terroir, although there was still a woodsiness to the wine. This was a single blind tasting and although I guessed all the wines correctly between Oregon and Burgundy, this was the only one I got the correct vineyard. This was easily a 94+ wine and fun to taste now. I have a few more bottles and will likely wait a year or two before opening my next one. For those fans of purity of fruit, it is drinking well now. I still believe it will maintain its fruit and develop more tertiary qualities with additional cellar time.
