TN: Tremblay 15

2015 Cecile Tremblay Bourgogne La Fontaine I believe this wine is a negociant bottling. A bit reductive on opening with that rubbery Firestone quality. It settled down quickly though with air, revealing a bright nose of florals and spice. It’s medium bodied and has a kiss of oak that frames dark cherry fruit. It’s a bit more open knit than the estate wines I’ve tried but still has that cool elegance/ever-so-slight greenness that is the hallmark of her wines. Lacks a bit of grip/intensity but delicious in a way that reminds me of an easy-going Fourrier.
