This is in a very nice place. Rich and layered, with a core of black cherry. There’s plenty of floral spice and earth. Just below the flesh is ample structure and the finish fans out and drives on and on. The balance and proportion are simply perfect.

I popped the 2011 Ravera Friday night as it was equally delicious, having made my way through a bottle of each of the Cru from 2011 of late, this maybe my favourite so far with the last, 2011 Lazzarito lined up for lunch today
