Bonneau Celestins 2004 and VCC 1998

A very pleasant evening with a magnificent Tomahawk steak.

BONNEAU CUVÉE CELSTINS 2004
The Celestins is lovely, complex, licorice, darkish fruit and spices. The finish is seriously long. 95

VCC 1998
A long time since last I last tasted this. It had been double decanted for three hours. Needed every minute. It had evolved into glorious lacy ribbons of flavor. Bright red strawberry, mineral, leather and a little touch of herb. Another wine where the finish is measured in minutes. Brilliant! 98
