TN: 2011 Domaine Berthet Bondet Côtes du Jura Tradition Blanc (France, Jura, Côtes du Jura)

Peat smoke, oyster shell, honey, ginger, lemon, limonene, apple, and walnuts. Quite textured on the palate with flavors expanding across the tongue. Finishes with excellent drive and length (92+). Good show after a mediocre 2019 bottle. Should drink well for at least another decade, perhaps two.

Thanks for the note, sounds tasty. I have a bottle of the 2013 and have been wondering when to open it, based on this no rush I guess.

Yes, likely no rush. Different cuvée, but I’ve been enjoying the '99 savagnin recently. It’s still drinking very well.
