I know the answer to this will vary a lot, and that some don’t belong to any. I had kind of lost track of how many I’m in - I just wait for the allocation notices - so I went through my old emails and made a list today. Most of these I only buy 3-6 bottles per year from, so it is not as daunting as it may appear. The Washington wineries are all new to my list this year. If you are willing, post your list! I’m curious whether most people draw from different regions, or concentrate on one.

I’m sure this topic has had threads before, but I didn’t find them on a search. (Although I will grant that I am unimpressed with the built in search function - or maybe my ability to use it!)
I prefer to buy wines whenever I want from wherever I want. I do take opportunities every now and then if friends who are on allocation lists offer a chance to order something along with them, but otherwise the whole business model is something that suits me 0%.
I just spent the last few hours trying to figure out where the f**K I’m going to store my fall allotments, cause my tiny “cellar”, and five additional coolers are all packed. A dresser in one of the spare bedrooms got the nod. I need to pair down my shopping habits, especially when I start thinking about retirement and a fixed income in year or two…
This was a good exercise for me. I can now admit I have a problem, and I need to stop visiting this web site seeing how many new lists I signed up for…
