Wine Freedom

I received an email from WineFreedom.org, an organization of wine retailers who are working on lowering restrictions on interstate retail wine sales. Their email, and their website, show a map of the U.S. depicting which states permit or prohibit interstate wine sales. I checked one state (Washington) and it appeared to me that their map was not accurate. Perhaps I am mistaken. If this subject interests you, take a look at their website to find out if they accurately characterize your state. It would be interesting to see what this board thinks of their accuracy.

Colorado is wrong. Or every retailer I buy from is breaking the law.

On a separate note, I wonder who passed my email address on to them.

I suspect it’s the latter … I am familiar with TX’s laws and numerous retailers simply ignore them.
