Rising stars of burgundy tasting

Thinking shoot putting one together. Who would people include?

Some thoughts:

JM Millot (Alix Millot)
Arnoux-Lachaux (Charles Lachaux)
Berthaut-Gerbet (Amelie Berthaut)
Marc Roy (Alexandrine Roy)
Y Clerget (Thibault Clerget)

Not sure about Barthod/boillot since that transition isn’t complete.

Others?

ooh this is a cool thread idea. gonna be a lot of Burgundy Alpha here.

Personal choice I would throw in Chantereves. Definitely agree on your list so far. are you hoping just transitioning estates or brand new ones?

Great list Michael. A few other possibilities:

Armand Heitz (Heitz Lochardet)
Hudelot-Noellat (I think Charles van Canneyt is only 33, about the same age as Armand Heitz)
Georges Noellat (Max Cheurlin)
Maison MC Thiriet (Camille Thiriet)

If whites count:

Pierre Vincent Girardin
Bernard-Bonin
Caroline Morey

Thibaud Clerget (of Y. Clerget)
Alvina Pernot

Heitz-Lochardet
Domaine Forey
JM Vincent

Domaine Croix
Benjamin Leroux

Is Jean-Marc Millot a rising star? These wines have been great(and a great value) for quite a while. Barthod as well…

Plus 1 for Caroline Morey(who may have been producing for awhile but is new to me in 2014)

isn’t rising star just like vintage of the decade/century/millennia? the answer is any new producer/next generation and every new vintage [snort.gif]

You know, when I first saw this, I thought it was a thread about the rising burgundy tasting stars. Another interesting thread.
