BD13 - picking up steam

Only because Todd says don’t say anything about berserker day I feel like it’s my innate responsibility to violate that oath.

The participants are already getting after it and the berserker council is actively involved which is so awesome. Going to be another spectacular year.

Hello cellar make some space.

How much does the average Beserker spend on this thing? Does one need to request a credit limit increase or open a new card?
Asking for a friend…

No worries, last year someone actually had new credit cards to apply for with “Berserker Limits

Significantly more than they expect.

Remember: the more you buy, the more you save.

To my knowledge my wife has never visited the Berserker site…ever. Yesterday she made the comment, “Oh god, not another Berserker Day. Don’t buy anything until you put away the wine that’s just laying around.” How she knew it was approaching I’ll never know. But apparently your PR efforts are working.

If you haven’t been called on BD by your credit card company for concern of fraudulent purchases, you’re doing it wrong.

That’s called “casino math”.

Perpetual Berserker day question from significant others: How many more bottles of wine do you need
Perpetual Berserker answer (no matter how many times it’s asked): Just a few more

“You have to spend money to save money!”

Found a lot of gems over the years on BD. Sandler, Stereophonic, Princess and the Peasant, West of Temperance, Virage, Castelli to name a few.

If you think you have enough wine, you don’t, keep buying more.

27th is first day of AMEX billing cycle for me. [berserker.gif]

Here’s the real question: what are you going to do with all the money you save on BD?

I figure if I buy $1,500 of wine, I’ll probably save $1,000. So, what do I do with the $1,000?

Put it in my IRA or my kids’ 529?

Go on a small vacation?

Go on a shopping spree for some new clothes? (but then I might save money doing that and have to face the same challenging question again)

Tough question. Any counsel would be appreciated.
