Anyone know more about him?
I’m on the Biale list and get all their corny writeups; don’t recall his name. They’ve had a few winemakers over the years.
He’s been the winemaker at Biale for the last several years. Still listed on their site? Have been on their list for over 18 years and would say he brought a more balanced/elegant style to their wines.
Excellent winemaker. Solid guy. Napa native. Very good bass player.

Not “Head” Winemaker. He’s the new facility winemaker at Monte Bello, but Olney is Head Winemaker.
