A Coupla Coche

2008 Coche-Dury Meursault: Pours out super-fresh with a luminous green tinge. There is some spearmint to the nose as well as pure white peach, honeysuckle and lemon. It is so direct and detailed in the mouth, with outstanding depth and balance. The finish is loaded with chalk and length is superb. A wonderful village wine.

2013 Coche-Dury Meursault: Super fresh, with loads of struck match and some intense lemon and white peach. It is rich and powerful, with awesome fruit intensity for its level. There’s so much chalky extract to the back-end. It is still too young but oh so pleasurable.

damn, but those sound great.

I love it when I get the call for Dury duty. Thanks for posting.

It really is a stunning bottle of village wine Jonathan. We had a couple of bottles of very decent Grand Cru white Burg on the table, and the Coche Village smoked them.
