Has anybody received their order or had contact from Ansonia Wines? I emailed them and have not gotten a response.

I got an email from Tom Wilcox at Ansonia on Thursday 2/17 saying that they will be shipping my order to GA this week. Is it possible that a similar email got caught in your spam filter? Or their shipping schedule may be location dependent.

Have not received that wine yet, but IIRC the Franny offer said they would ship in April.

Hi guys -- just a quick note from Tom here to say thanks in advance for your patience with these orders! And our sincere apologies if we miss your email questions. We got more orders in two days than we usually get in 2 months (huge thanks btw!) so our regular order processing methods have broken down a bit.

We've had everything on hold for weeks as temps in Boston have been in the single digits until recently. We're starting to ship as much as we can each week, and will continue to do so until everything gets out. We've hired extra packers for the next few weeks, so hopefully we'll have it all out by the second half of March -- right now we're prioritizing warm zip codes. Most importantly, we'll be sure to be in touch before hand to confirm you're home before shipping!

Thanks again for all of your support -- we had high expectations and you guys blew us away! Can't wait to get these wines into your hands, and thanks as always for your patience.

Cheers,
Tom

My 6-pk of Scherrer wines arrived a few days ago before this crazy cold weather (currently snowing and -17C) hit Colorado. They'll rest comfortably in the cellar for 6-12 months, unless a friend asks to open one sooner. Thank you, Scherrer family.

Anyone in the East Coast have shipments that came in this week or expecting early next week? Some of my orders were shipped, but looks like the weather in the Midwest is not ideal...bit concerned now.

Relax*. We're not dealing with something totally unusual in terms of weather.

Goodfellow literally just arrived, and I am enjoying a very elegant glass of Willamette Valley pinot right now, that has an interesting and delicate Jura-like iridescent orange-tinged color.

Received my Shiba Wichern yesterday.
Tuna bellies from Gourmets of Spain last week (seriously good tuna, imo would be a sin to make mayo based "tuna salad" with)
Unless there are some surprises that I forgot that leaves a few cases of Franny Beck / Our Wines pinot
Everything else has been eaten (Flannery steaks), partially drank (Sabelli Frisch, or cellared. Opened bag #3 of coffee last week. The Costa Rica is my favorite so far.

Hi Brian-my pleasure, and great to meet you in person as well. I love being able to pour for Berserkers. And although chilly, we did luck out a bit with weather for a rooftop gathering in Feb...at least it wasn't raining!

Delivered:
Big Basin
Keller Estate (minus the Rotie, which is in transit)
Sabelli-Frisch

Pending:
Our Wines
Di Costanzo
Veleta (oil not bottled yet)
Grassl (in transit from overseas, apparently?)

Weather in Boulder has been brutally cold for the past few weeks, so it's no surprise that some haven't shipped yet.

Tim, we were lucky to be able to slip that wine to you before weather moved in. We are waiting on so much of the country to become more moderate (hope this is not violating any political rules here [wink.gif] ).

Grassl Update is we anticipate Early may arrival as we are targeting a 3/22/22 pickup from the factory. We also anticipate being able to fill ALL WB orders not simply the 'early arrival' ones.
So far, we are on track with the anticipated dates provided on WB day.
if that changes, we'll send a broadcast email to all buyers.

My Loring Mystery Packs finally made it. FedEx managed to take 3 days to get them the last 120 miles from New Jersey to me in CT. Original delivery was scheduled for Friday. They didn't get to NJ until Friday morning, Stratford CT on Saturday morning too late to make the delivery truck and then they were no set up for Sunday delivery though this terminal does Sunday deliveries. Oh well, it was cold enough that nothing was going to get hurt sitting in a warehouse or on a truck.

Still waiting on Sojourn, DiCostanzo and Kelley Fox.

Given I'm in Chicago, I can't say I mind.
About 10 minutes after posting this DiCostanzo sent an update saying they’d continue to hold the wins due to inclement weather. Both DiCo and Kelley Fox have been highly communicative around shipping schedules. Sojourn less so but a look at my account on their site shows that the wines have been "Released" tho not yet "Shipped."

No. But I see from recent posts now some people are getting theirs- so should be soon.
For people who are in range of GLS / GSO, if you have not already, you should get your package tomorrow.

I will ship out to warmer parts via FedEx starting next week and then cooler spots after that. Coming soon. Thanks for your patience!

We regularly monitor weather and this is the map of minimum temperatures for next week. Too much purple to ship so we are still in a “hold” to most states. I’ll take another look over the weekend and see if we can get the southern tiers out to Texas, Carolinas, Florida, etc.

I let some of my last lakes sates stuff ship recently. It is still very cold, but warmer than before. And I've also come to the conclusion that the pulp shippers I use, kind of traps air, insulates them and protects them anecdotally, which gives me a little bit more confidence.

Has anyone heard from Fine Disregard regarding shipping? Just wondering since I couldn't find any notes on shipping in the BD offer or confirmation email.

Ansonia white burgundies arrived Thursday and we had our first tonight - Meursault. Loved it! Nice finish and making me want to try even more white Burgundy wines.

I especially love the cards about the winemakers in the shipment and the special Wine Berserker day note.

I've received Flannery and Red Newt. Goodfellow is this coming week. And I think Vincent will be sending east coast shipments soon too. Sun Break is holding for a year for me at my request. (We worked this arrangement out before my purchase.)
