2005 Dom Pérignon Champagne - France, Champagne (3/16/2022)
Typical reductive notes on the nose, with a slightly more autolytic bent that most vintages. To my palate fully mature, this is a broad, well-rounded edition. Veering a bit to the sweet and rounded side, with maybe a little dosage more than necessary. An excellent bottle to open now while waiting for the 2008s to come out of their shell. (95 pts.)
