TN: 2012 Marc Hébrart Champagne Premier Cru Special Club

  • 2012 Marc Hébrart Champagne Premier Cru Special Club - France, Champagne, Champagne Premier Cru (4/30/2022)
Served alongside homemade gougeres, this was on form from the first sip. Deep but not at all heavy, it carried a doughy/yeasty richness with fresh apple and citrus fruit. Very long finish, and excellent depth. Looks to have the stuffing for substantial and profitable aging.

The 2013 last year was equally fantastic.

Laura and I both loved this, but damn the stupid SC bottles…

so many stupid Champagne bottles. List is near endless.

My 2013 Hebrart SC are all magnums - talk about bottles! We built one dedicated rack in our cellar for Krug and Special Club mags.

Sounds quite tasty. Like its drinking well now but could age a long time. I have 3 bottles, any recommendations on when to crack the first? I have more of the Noces luckily.

I only had 4 bottles before yesterday, and I was more than happy to have opened on. Heck it’s going on ten years old!

Hmm I like the Hebrart wines but haven’t had this one. Gotta look for it.
