TN: 2009 Dönnhoff Riesling (Germany, Nahe)

2009 Dönnhoff Riesling - Germany, Nahe (3/14/2011)
Pale gold. Some florals and pineapple on the nose. The structure is in front of the fruit at this point. Very acidic and pleasantly refreshing. Light bodied. Some meyer lemon, green apple and a hint of orange peel. Medium finish. I love the svd pradikat wines from Donnhoff, and while I liked this, it left me wanting a bit.

I opened this wine last night. I agree with your tasting notes, good acid and pineapple. Not a lot of depth and complexity but then again it was under $20. Pretty good QPR.
