"Wine Atlas of the Langhe"

This is a must-have book for anyone who likes the great wines of Barolo and Barbaresco. Unfortunately, the publisher has no plans to reprint the English language edition. If you want to be able to purchase this book or want others to, please go to this facebook page and click “like”:

Ken - That’s a drag.

I’m curious… I have the first edition but didn’t bother to get the second because it dropped some info such as yearly production figures, which I would have liked to have seen updated. Is there anything in the second edition that a Piemonte-phile needs to have if he already owns the first edition?

It’s a great, great book. The profiles of the greats of Barolo and Barbaresco are fascinating, but even more interesting to me was the stories of life in the Langhe back in the day told by the old timers.

$500 used on amazon… yikes

Guess I should have bought the second edition!

Awesome book, best one that I have found on the region.
