Happened to be up at Chasseur tasting the 2010 vintage Pinot Noirs and I mentioned that I had a mixed case of 2007 and I asked the fellow how they were drinking. He stated that he thought the vintage was closed down at the moment, except for the Blank Vineyard. Just opened with a little slow ox; full though not heavy, silky on the palate, ethereal nose, surprising acidity and minerality in the wine backed up by solid red fruits. Outstanding…
