2002 Rhys “Home” PN - 14.1% alcohol
Bright crimson red with a touch of onion skin at edge.
Rich nose of raspberries, face powder and violets.
Nicely structured, medium bodied, elegant pure red berry entry led to a luscious cherry finish.
A perfectly balanced wine! I think I caught this puppy at it’s peak. El Yummo!
A really fine CA Pinot Noir and if this is an indication of how “Da Home” ages, we have some fine drinkin’ ahead.

Don,
This is '02. I think I traded Paul a bottle many years ago (maybe he remembers).
The Home was made in my garage from '00-'02 but not commercially released.
Since 2000, there was no Home bottled in '03, '05 and '09 which reflects the difficulty of making just a single barrel of wine.
Starting with 2010, we have an expanded Home Vyd and I am really happy with the new section. It is making better wine (with the same character) compared to the older section.
