2010 Tarima Hill

Popped and poured a 2010 Tarima Hill. (Sounds Aussie, don’t you think?) 100% old vine Monastrell that handles its 15% alcohol very gracefully. Definitely not for the faint of heart, this full bodied, full-flavored red has a wonderful mouthfeel and defies its level of ripeness by being very, very dry. Call me a Parker sycophant, but it’s really hard to believe that this bottle of wine retails for $14.

Wish I could say I concurred with your opinion but I just found the wine heavy and cloying.
