We make an annual Napa/Sonoma trip usually towards the end of October/first of Nov. This year we have to plan our trip around the middle of October. Since we’ve been several times I am most interested for this trip to try the upcoming 2007 wines(cab, merlot). So for folks ITB, am I better off going in mid October or waiting until April ?
I’ve heard harverst may be a little late this year so we may end up right in the middle of it. I know that puts more pressure on the smaller producers we like and I also realize some of them have already started to release their wines. We’ll probably do at least 1 or 2 days in Sonoma so I’ll also be able to catch the 2008 pinots.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
