Savart is one of my new favorite producers.
Compelling stuff that has me drinking more Champagne than I used to.

  • NV Champagne Savart Champagne L’Ouverture - France, Champagne (4/19/2014)
    Bright and energetic. Full bodied wine from Pinot Noir grapes. Really tight bubbles that scour the palate. Cleansing and brisk, with nice earthy and mineral elements. Dry and clean. Needs some air to shine. Savart is the jam!

80% pinot noir, 20% chardonnay. Superbe découverte pour un champagne précis, parfumé (poire, menthe), sapide, fin.
