Anyone ever try these? They look interesting and make some degree of sense to me.

I’ll also be interested to hear peoples’ experience with these. I saw these recently in the gift shop at Wild Turkey and was tempted as they are some unique and pretty nice looking glasses. Wild Turkey, by the way, was not a great place to taste but a super interesting visit because Jimmy Russell himself was just hanging out on a stool in the gift shop. We got lucky by arriving late for the tour, which meant that we just hung out in the gift shop and chatted with him until the rest of the group got back and the tasting began.

I own some and used one exactly one time. It is a clunky gimmick. Glencairn are better nosing glasses. The discontinued La Maison du Whisky bespoke Pure crystal glasses are the best of all.
I’m sure the Norlan glass is fine for bourbon, as bourbon drinkers don’t care what they put in their mouths.
I have 4 of these I received for my birthday last year. I don’t notice a difference as compared to a normal glencairn type glass

I love my Riedel whisky glasses. They are fragile, but they’re the best I’ve used to date. Glencairn glasses also work well.
Same here. My wife bought me a set and I don’t think they do anything. They are annoying though; if you soak them or place them in a dishwasher, there is a small hole in the base that allows water to collect inside the double walls.

Is there any special handling being that there is an air gap between the inner and outer molds?
