Have been tempted to flip back-up bottles a couple of times (Blanton’s, OWA especially), but am too worried they’d break in transit

Blanton’s is one of the worst to ship. The corks aren’t great and the wax is really delicate.

nice link. You could of course offer up bottles only for local pickup. Might not get the absolute highest national price, but saves the hassle of shipping.
