There were days when WA drove the market and WS catered to the elite on California wine. You can find more honest descriptions of wine on Cellar Tracker, from real people who are not catering to certain people or have an “old” palate and influence. No matter where you look for answers, find the people who describe a wine you know the same way you would. Their similar palate will gravitate towards wines you will enjoy. Also read the tasting notes here. I don’t like Riesling but tried a bottle with spicy Asian food that was recommended by another Berserker. It was the perfect compliment to the food. Since then I have stepped outside the box to pair wines I’m not a fan of with certain foods and definitely broadened my enjoyment of both food and wine.
