Dry or sweet

This is one of most difficult to quantify concepts for the average person. Truly one person’s dry is another person’s sweet. In 35 plus years in the business, this was the hardest thing to communicate to the average person without their tasting the wine. Now I am retired and it still sort of bothers me that we haven’t made much progress on that front. I tried the other day to put some thoughts into words. Which wine is sweet or dry.
