I saw recently that Wines & Vines magazine will cease publication soon, with their December issue being their last. Part of its content is supposed to be folded into that of Wine Business Monthly after that - “featuring many of the same writers and practical content” - while some will be merged with the Wine Business Insider newsletter. All of these entities (including W&V) are owned by Wine Communications Group.
I’ll be sorry to see W&V go away - it has been by far my favorite wine trade publication. I’ve found many articles by writers such as Laura Ness, Laurie Daniel, and Matt Kettmann to be of great interest, and a good deal of the info that’s been in those articles has not been published anywhere else that I’ve found. Hopefully they will continue to contribute their work to Wine Business Monthly in the future.
