Eno Fine Wine - Barolo/Grower Champagne/Nikolaihof Riesling/Marcassin Collections - Crazy prices

The last couple of Berserkerdays have been fun but I thought I’d do something a little more serious this year. I started setting aside a few cherries for today in anticipation of offering them at too good to be true prices. These are all in stock and ready to ship however. The boat dropped these off a long time ago. rolleyes

First off a pair of 2006 Nikolaihof Rieslings from a cellar release that arrived last summer. Vom Stein is one of the two monumental Riesling terroirs that Nikolaihof owns, in the steep hills south of the Danube. The Federspiel is the more delicate of the two while the Jungfernlese, meaning young vines, is a massive Riesling reminiscent of a great Rheingau Spatlese. There was a bit of botrytis in this vintage and Nikolaihof decided to bottle this anyway which is a little unusual but with remarkable results. Brilliant rieslings from Austria’s oldest winery and first biodynamic winery.

2006 Nikolaihof Vom Stein Riesling Federspiel and Jungfernlese 2 pack - $69 normally $90 together

Next up is a collection of three great names in grower Champagne and all very difficult to source. All Blanc de Noirs, the Beaufort and Bouchard bottlings are Aube Champagnes while the Ulysse Collin is from the Village of Congy in the Sezannias just south of the Cote des Blancs. Brilliant examples of a new school of Champagne farmers and some fo the msot exciting white wines coming out of France these days.

Is there a website to order starting tomorrow?

Hi Mark, working on links now. I’m in Europe at the moment and having a few connectivity issues but should be squared away shortly.

Steve

Crazy good prices on the Marcassin, Stevie!

You like Marcassin Semaj??

I’ve been known to drink a bottle now and again, Robo.

In for some champers, thanks!

…meaning…TOMORROW you will be, as certainly he wouldn’t sell it on Preview Day, amiright???

hmm. pretty sure the link is live… the champagne link say sold out…??

Awesome combo of bubbles, Barolo, and Marcassin…

Is the bubbly 3 pack still available? it’s shown as “sold out” since yesterday…

got the same thing. No bubbles shown as available.

Same here. I’m ready to pull the trigger on the champagne three pack if there’s any available.

Same here re Champagne.

Champagne is sold out for me too

Break pricing on multiples?

The bubbly has to be an error right? As a subscriber I saw this yesterday and it was already showing as sold out…
I’m wondering if its a in inventory glitch?

There were only three available, it is possible it just went very quickly.

But yesterday no sales are allowed. So how can it be sold out already before it opened to sale? Hmm

In for the Nikolaihof. Love me some Austrian whites, whatever the grape.
