Hi Thomas. I am going to try one of the cab packs, but can’t decide between the Amaryllis and Eminence. Can you (or anyone else who has tasted) provide any more thoughts on the two and their differences? Not finding much on CT for either.

I sure can’t help! I asked him the same thing, as I’ve had both and enjoyed both!!

Hi Tim,
The biggest difference, to me, is that the Eminence is generally more approachable in its infancy. Amaryllis, which is a single vineyard Cabernet off of Spring Mountain, generally is a bit more tannic than the Eminence. Eminence shows lusher black fruits early on.
You can’t go wrong with either, but what I would say, is if you are not a patient person, order the Eminence Pack.

Thanks, that does help. I do tend to be a patient person with my wines, however I would love to open one of these sooner rather than later to know if it’s a future buy for me. So I will probably try the Eminence.
