To induce or not to induce - induction v. gas

My sister is redoing her kitchen. Currently she has a gas range. She is thinking of changing over to induction. She was wondering whether to go 100% induction or have a mix? What is the benefit of gas over induction and the benefit of induction over gas? What would you do?
She has natural gas in the house, so not an issue there

Thanks!

GAS…plus …When the electricity fails you can still cook and even heat your space.
This site would convince me to go Induction

This NYT article on why this chef prefers gas.

Hybrid.
Induction offers superior temp control and maximum efficiency, but not all pans work on MI. Plus as mentioned above in the event of a power outage, you can still cook.

if she has the counter top space, i would go all gas then get 2 portable high powered induction burners. Great for cooking outside or in or for getting 6-8 pots going at once.
