Ava
The Refinery
Arco Iris
There are also a couple of okay chains like Capital Grill and Ocean Prime.
Arco Iris looks most interesting, thanks, John, none of these are really ‘seafood’ focused - they all seem to have one market fish dish, that’s about it
Surely Berns has a smoked salmon entre ?
Yes, they have a seafood menu - http://www.bernssteakhouse.com/The-Menu/Additional-Entrees/Fresh-Fish - but the Bern’s experience is most definitely pricey for them, particularly if I get a look at the wine list.
It’s a little bit of a drive, but the Salt Rock Grill in Indian Shores used to be really good. It’s been several years since I’ve been there, however.
when are you going to be down there?
This weekend
Not a restaurant but the Dali museum in St. Pete is world class.
Oh wow, I’m quite interested - will see if I can take a day trip
My uncle’s backyard oil drum smoker puts out some great barbecue! Not sure if I can get you a rezzie though…
Have a good trip!
Sea Creatures.
You mean Sea Critters?
Yes, sorry Todd. Its a cool little beach spot. They usually have solid beer choices.
Second Self??
Nope. But usually Cigar City or Funky Buddha. These days maybe even Cycle or Seventh Sun.
…
Can’t wait for some Cuban food and grouper sandwiches!!!
And killer onion rings… Far from gourmet, but my favorite grouper sandwich.
