Any recommendations on the Ligurian coast?

We’ll be traveling to Finale Ligure, 6 adults and 3 kids. If you have any recommendations for some casual places that would be great. I understand that Manuelina, in Recco, is worth a visit, and so is the restaurant at Eataly in Genoa, but we’ll have 5 days to fill.

Thanks!

Cristian

It’s been several years, but I had a truly great meal at Agrodolce in Imperia, if you don’t mind traveling a little.

Not sure if it’s casual enough (although it is pretty casual), but lunch on the terrace at the Splendido in Portofino is hard to beat.

U Giancu in the hills above Rapallo is a very casual, festive and fun place. My family loved it there.

If you decide to make the trek a little north into the mountains into the pretty town of Apricale, about 35 minutes from the coasts, I’d suggest reserving a table at La Capanna da Baci. Excellent Ligurian foods, plus a nice view of the mountains.

Great view and seafood.

I ate at Muraglia in Varigotti for my birthday last week. Great restaurant right across from the beach and Chef Enzo is a master on the grill.

We are staying in SML and planning each day depending on the weather. Yesterday was beautiful and sunny so we took the ferry to Portofino. Throngs of tourists but one place seemed to stand out as it was crowded and both the patrons and the staff seemed to be having a great time.
Pagina non trovata | Dai Gemelli - Portofino From The Twins- excellent. Caprese salad, Trofie w pesto and Grilled Prawns ala Gemili. Perfect Vermention by the glass. Highly recommend.

Train to Camolgi. Many restaurants have been there for years. This one stood out. Ostaia da Osigu
Wonderful little spot with perfectly prepared Ligurian cuisine. Outstanding service and a deeper than expected wine list fairly priced.
