I find it comical that when going in on Open Table to inquire about the French Laundry, it goes directly from your request precedes the date for making a reservation to there are no tables available on that date. Has anyone ever booked a table at the FL using Open Table?
IIRC they only have 1, maybe 2, table(s) available on Open table.
They are also moving to Tock Nick Kokonas’ (Alinea) restaurant ticketing system. Not sure when.

Don’t know if they’ve changed this policy, but a few years ago, one could call 24-48 hours ahead of time to see if anyone’s cancelled their reservations. Sometimes you could get in.

Interesting how easy it is to get a table at Per Se, in comparison.
If you don’t get in I’d suggest Meadowood (if you can get in there). Just had a phenomenal meal there a few weeks back.
