Super Bowl "epicurean" must-haves???

What are your Super Bowl traditions, food-wise.
We are getting a whole roasted pig this year, but there are a few items that I MUST HAVE every year.

Potato chips and onion dip
Guacamole and chips.
Chili
Langer’s pastrami

We always mix in a bunch of other stuff, but those cannot be subbed out.

Buffalo Wings with Celery and Blue Cheese dip
Potato Chips and Helluva Good Dip
Beer
A friend’s artichoke dip

those are my must haves, other food varies year to year

John - You should hve some Primanti style sandwiches

Ruffles and onion dip (wife’s weakness).

Vege and meated Dagwood sandwiches on tomato bread.

Going to friends of ours, been going there for 10+ years. Look forward to:

Wings - any kind
Kielbasa/Kraut
Sausage and Peppers

Guacamole… (and today/tomorrow are the days to buy your avocados and condition them)
Love wings and football… but making wings at home is a no go… and going to a bar for the super bowl is too.

Thinking this year will fry up some croquetas de jamon & queso; also some chicken thigh chicharron drizzled with Mike’s Hot Honey.

fried chicken is a must

Pizza!

little smokies

Franks red hot wings, teriyaki/soy/ginger wings.
Crudite with dill dip.
Beer, bubbles, cured meat and gourmet cheese plates.
Venison jerky, smoked salmon.

Me and the wifes favorite tradition (when we lived in Sonoma county) is to press pause and go to COSTCO, only day of the year we could handle that place. Then join our other working friends and start the party at 6pm.

Buffalo wings. Will make em at home, including make the sauce. I like both blue cheese and ranch for dipping. I’ll make the ranch from scratch, and also buy a decent blue cheese to make into a dipping sauce.

How does one condition an avocado??

Condition = ripen
