Paella

I made this chicken and chorizo paella yesterday.

Looks awesome. Thinking of doing one on Wednesday for 4th of July.

Probably gonna be shrimp, chicken & chorizo.

What time should we show up ?

I assume you know to leave the shrimp (or other seafood) out until it’s nearly finished, and then add at the end of cooking.

The leftover paella has reheated very easily in a covered, non-stick pan. And it’s not too difficult to get a crust on the bottom of the leftover paella.

My camping paella this year.

For sure, and I like to arrange mussels evenly throughout the pan, hinge side down during that step. They pop open and don’t get filled with rice etc, easy to serve and also adds to presentation. Same with shrimp, they get arranged between the mussels and get steamed on top.
