Black-eyed Pea Salad (Texas Caviar) - Podnah's Pit

Not much variation in recipes but Podnah’s is still my favorite. Has anyone replicated it or know any secret ingredients?

Wife made up a batch for NYDay dinner and it was mighty tasty. One serving left with roast beef tip for dinner. She’s sick with the crud and having tomato soup. i’ll ask for recipe when she returns from the store. I use Podnah’s vinegar sauce or Sriracha on just about anything.
