Anyone use a June Oven?

The June Oven is a high-tech intelligent oven that’s supposed to recognize food you put in and know how to cook it.

Cook’s Illustrated and America’s Test Kitchen give it positive reviews.

The Wire Cutter and The Tasting Table pan it.

The idea of sticking a temperature probe into something and have the oven automatically vary the temperature and shut itself off is appealing. But if it doesn’t work reliably, what’s the point?

I wonder if June sent Cook’s Illustrated and America’s Test Kitchen the ovens to review and some how gave it as kitchen gadget version of a Parker Bottle.

I use my oven year round, although less in June because it heats up the house too much.
