not as good as thermapen i’m sure, but at $19 seems like a no brainer as an extra/backup/gift situation. i’m buying one just to see how different it is from the thermapen.
Cool I picked one up to compare to the $50 Lavatools Javelin Pro I got last year, and to have on at gf’s house
good to know about the pro. seems the pro is a bit faster and the screen rotates?
Yes the Pro screen display rotates, but don’t think that’s a big deal. It is basically instant on the temp, not sure the specs, but 4s seems long for this model from Drop.
just tested my thermapen and it took 3-4 seconds to finalize the temp.
I’ve been using a Javelin for 3 years after leaving my Tpen in the rain (DOH!!)…not as long but for the price, there is no reason to not have 1-2 of these…works just fine.
I snagged 4 for gifting, thanks for heads up.
This company is a scam. Beware.
Just noticed a refund for this. Guess they flakes out on this offer. Was planning on stuffing gf’s Christmas stocking with this oh well
