Bûche De Noël

My first attempt at making a Bûche de Noël. I didn’t roll the cake tight enough, so I didn’t get many layers.
Any tips for making cake rolls?
Do you have a favorite recipe? I’d like to make another one.

Different cake but similar technique for rolling.

Pre-roll it warm, so it keeps it’s shape, then unroll when cool and add filling and reroll.

Thanks. I did use a towel and roll when warm, but maybe it wasn’t warm enough. I think I just need to practice.
I might also use a different recipe that makes a larger cake, so there’s more cake to roll.

I also meant to sprinkle a little snowy powdered sugar on top!
