My variation of this uses Feta because it is saltier than goat and i do a combo of mint and basil. My wife asks for it every night this time of year. I also like a little balsamic and purple onion on mine. I use the lime if i don’t use the balsamic.
It’s a mild cheese. A little tangy, salty. We often marinate it in olive oil and some fresh herbs before grilling. It’s really delicious and goes so well with watermelon.
This is the watermelon/Halloumi salad. I had a craving after seeing this thread yesterday morning.
I put it on a bed of arugula and drizzled a little balsamic on top. Delish!
