I am pretty sure the Travel and Restaurant forum used to be just Travel, so people sometimes put restaurants in this forum and sometimes in that one, possibly based on whether the topic in question covered restaurants in their own city or ones they had to travel to. Then it became Travel and Restaurant, probably to clarify, but many folks were used to using this one to discuss restaurants.

They did switch it around but never moved the old threads over to the appropriate sub forum.
