Large Group of Cult Wines...

Hi-

So, I’ve been on this board for a long time, mostly as a lurker. Though I used to have more than 100 people who’d given me feedback (all 100% positive) on Winecommune.com, those days are long gone. The best I can do is point you to my feedback on ebay (klewis1225), and I’m happy to speak with you, give you my info., etc. so you know who I am, and that you are comfortable with your purchase. I realize this is a relatively small community, and my intent is to do us both right.

OK, now that that’s out of the way, the below list is a list I am considering selling. Honestly, I’m not going to sell it all, but these are some wines I can part with, either because of their value, or because I’ve decided they don’t move me (or both), and also because I need room. I am also saving up money to buy a car that no one really needs (Taycan), and though I’ve consigned some super-high-end stuff, I thought this place might be a better way. However, when I hit my threshold, I will remove the list, and the rest will stay unless/until I change my mind.

All of my wine has either come directly from mailing lists or a wine store (not consignment or secondary resale), and all have been stored, and continue to be stored, in my temperature and humidity controlled split-system cellar. The prices below are slightly, to decently, below the lowest domestic price (or international where not available domestically, with no account given to the cost/risk/delay of shipping to the U.S.) I could find for same on wine-searcher.com. While I will pay for boxes, I’d expect you to pay for shipping (whatever method/shipper you prefer), and I’m happy to combine shipping, so long as the transactions are paid for within the same week. I only accept paypal, which protects us both (unless you want to wait 2 weeks before I ship after I deposit the check).

I’m happy to answer any other questions you may have. Thanks for looking.

Did your copy paste get somehow messed up? It says 2012 SQN Five Shooter Syrah, I thought they only made Five Shooter in 2010?

Yes, sorry, I’ve made the change on Five Shooter. I was racing to put this up before I left for a day and evening event, and was moving too fast. Thanks for letting me know, Alex.

where are you located?

Chicago. Thanks for the PM on Writing on the Wall. Obviously, I must have messed up my search yesterday, as the only full set I could find was outside of the U.S. I have since removed the item.

Email sent. Are you still holding the 2014 Scarecrow?
