FS: Rousseau, La Tache, Juge - Bump for Reductions

Regretfully throwing up a few bottles whose value has exceeded my comfort level.

1 x 2000 Rousseau Chambertin. Reduced to $2000 (WS Pro low price is $2700)
BH 94, CT 93.6. Here’s Charlie Fu’s note from 2017: “Absolutely trounces the 2000 Beze that was served next to it. Beautiful bouquet of fragrant flowers, potpourri and asian spice. Long, round and clean bright red fruit on the palate, fully integrated tannins, soft and silky. There’s this interplay of spice and earth lurking in the background that keeps things interesting. Goes down to easy.”

2 x 2014 Marcel Juge Cornas. $325/bottle. (WS Pro is $450) PENDING
CT 94.3, a recent note compares it to “turbo-charged Jamet Cote Rotie.”

1 x 1996 DRC La Tache. $3800/bottle. (WS Pro is $4200) I hate to part with this. Mid-'80s Beaune premier cru was my epiphany wine, but this was divine revelation.

BH 95 “Fantastically pure with the classic spice box, hoisin and soy nose followed by big, rich, very structured flavors that display notes of earth, leather and tea. The tannins are big, ripe and are completely buffered by the sap with length that is simply phenomenal. This remains completely primary in character and seems not to have budged at all since it was bottled. A fine, if not genuinely great, vintage for La Tâche that is softer in the mouth than the '96 Grands Ech and this should improve for most of another decade and last for 50 years. Very classy juice. (2016)”

CT 96.2. Kevin Shin’s note from 29 September is glowing: “Youthful yet unbelievably complex nose displaying sweet black and red fruit, blackberry, strawberry, black cherry, a hint of licorice, noticeable stem, sous bois, espresso bean, Vosne spice, Chinese herbal medicine, grilled fat, cinnamon, tree bark and mineral. Perfectly harmonious, very finely layered perfectly ripe black and red fruit, quite intense and concentrated yet also silky, precise and detailed, and a long intense black fruit driven finish with Chinese herbal medicine and sous bois at the end. This seems slightly leaner and more polished than the Richebourg. This incredibly youthful example can improved for another couple of decades. 98 points”
