Arnoux-Lachaux 2017s - Lalou Bize-Leroy Disciple and One of Burgundy's Rising Stars

Lots to choose from Grand Cru and 1er, this great young and rising star that has turned around his family’s domain from heavy extracted and heavily new oaked wines, to clear representations of some of Burgundy’s best terrorist. Lalou Bize-Leroy is someone he has modeled his vineyard practices after in the family’s gem sites in mostly Vosne and some NSG, with a sprinkling of other great sites.

when was Arnoux overoaked and heavily extracted? My experience only goes to the 70s and I don’t recall any. But I do agree the wines are getting better.

Certainly in the mid 2000s.
