Select: Kelley Fox Wines * *BD11 Offering**

Warm up your credit cards and come on in, as here is where you will find all the BerserkerDay offers - open to EVERYONE who loves wine. Apologize to your spouse or significant other ahead of time. #BD11
Forum rules
Not 'Rules', necessarily, but here's how BerserkerDay goes:

I'll be launching offers in groups of 8-10, in increments of 30 minutes. Sponsors will stay pegged at the top of the forum all day, each new group of offers will come in at the top with them for their launch grouping, cycling into the 'normal' thread after their launch time has passed, with a new launch group posted atop the thread thereafter. Discussion is encouraged, as posting replies moves the thread up to the top of the grouping, whether that is during launch time group or the 'regular' forum.

Keep checking in every 30 minutes for new offers being posted, and keep scrolling down to see everything that has been launched throughout the timeframe in which you've been on the forum, which hopefully is ALL DAY

Happy 11th Berserker Day Anniversary!!

This is the Kelley Fox Winery’s inaugural Berserker Day and we feel honored to be a part of this momentous occasion. Kelley and I have dug deep to find some special bottles for this special day. All pricing for each offering includes shipping to the lower 48. Also, each one is seriously discounted to support some of our favorite wine people in this world. Listed below are the three Berserker Day Offerings. Please act fast and use the link provided to our website, as all are very limited in quantity.

1. The 2017 Hyland Vineyard, Coury Clone, Pinot Noir 6-pack - $300
We are very happy to introduce the first bottling of Hyland Vineyard, Coury Clone, Pinot Noir for 2017 (usually $60). This wine was produced from self-rooted Coury clone vines planted in 1988 in a block of red Jory volcanic soil at around 600 feet. The vines that are worked with there have been farmed organically for years and biodynamically (uncertified) starting a few years ago. “It’s a beauty, it’s long, and it seems to embody some Platonic Idea of ‘Red’.”
Hyland Six Pack: https://www.kelleyfoxwines.com/inventor ... noir-6pack

2. The 2015 Momtazi Vineyard Pinot Noir, Library Release, 6-pack - $275 *TWO LEFT*
The Momtazi 2015 is a selection of eighteen barrels from three blocks at the famed Momtazi Vineyard. It is 100% whole cluster and is a Demeter-certified biodynamic wine. “It has mystery while being utterly transparent: these opposites are all about temperance in the alchemical sense. It's powerful, exhilarating, and precise.”
Library Momtazi Six Pack: https://www.kelleyfoxwines.com/inventor ... noir-6pack

3. The Mirabai Pinot Noir Vertical, Library Release, 6-pack - $250 *SOLD OUT*
This veritcal will take you through a journey that not everyone will be able to enjoy. Only 12 sets were pulled from Kelley’s personal library. You will be able to experience six wildly unique and amazing vintages one bottle at a time, 2012-2017. The majority of all these spectacular bottles are cuvées of all the blocks Kelley is luckily able to get of the Maresh vineyard together as one. Each vintage tells it’s own story of the season seen through the winemaker’s eyes. Act soon as people have already been pushing to get into the winery’s library. Here is a fun and easy way just for the Berserker Day festivities.

If any issues arise you are welcome to contact directly, dustin@kelleyfoxwines.com or PM though the Berserker website.
Thank you for your support.

For my order tomorrow, who do you use for shipping to Colorado? The address I use depends on the answer. Thanks!

Dustin, I've been a fan of Kelley's wines since Scott Paul. Based on a friend's rave reviews, I'm looking forward to trying the 2017 Coury Clones.

Thanks for the offer.

I submitted my order for the Mirabai Vertical as soon as it was posted for order, got message that it is no longer available in the quantity requested.
Is there any way I can get my order to go through?

Rich,

That Hyland Coury Clone was my wife's favorite when we tasted in Nov. Look forward to trying in next to Jim Anderson's version!

Dustin - tried to purchase a library pack but was shut out [help.gif]

Ant chance for a deal on 2018 version if no more library packs are available?

Im guessing everybody had orders filled out and hit the enter button as soon as Todd put them up. I was waiting for this and instantly ordered when the tranche popped up. Got momtazi which is cool, but bummed about library.

Also tried for the Library vertical.

Will have to think about whether I want to buy 6 bottles of a single wine from a producer I've never tried before --- I almost never buy that much of *any* single bottling, even from my favorite producers.

I'd be all over a mixed 6 pack.

I visited Kelly and Dustin last September. Unfortunately I had just left Marcus' and was pretty buzzed. I behaved but said some dumb things. For example, I mentioned that Marcus had already harvested some pinot and Kelly was justifiably skeptical. It occurred to me later the bin of red grapes I spied at Goodfellow was syrah. I also think I badly misquoted Marcus's barrel regimen and Kelly was too polite to correct me.
But more to the point, I opened a '16 Ahurani last night by mistake (lots of mistakes here). I saw the art label and had it figured for a Mirabai which I have four vintages of in quantity. The '16 Ahurani is a beautiful wine-more powerful in a darker berried frame whereas the Mirabai's tend to be higher toned bright fruit and strawberry, this was more dark violet and soy. But still so delicate and full of "tension".
Anyhow, I just ordered a case of the '17 Coury Clone. Thanks Kelly and Dustin.

That said, if anyone in the Bay Area wants to swap a few bottles for Momtazi, please message me.

For all of you bemoaning the limited Mirabai, fwiw I think the Momtazi and Coury are the better value plays here. The Mirabai is the basic catch-all bottling and is very nice but.....

agree.. like KF wines, but 6 btl minimum on a single bottling is a bit much.. mix/match or 3 btl packs would've been great..
Still like the wines, but just feedback for a BD offer.

**For anyone who ordered the 2015 Momtazi 6 Pack, I will refund $25. Sorry for the mistake. It will take me a bit to get to all the orders, so please be patient.

The Library vertical was a VERY limited availability. I'll see what I can do about next year's offer.

Cheers,
Dustin

I'm another that tried to order as soon as the post went up, but missed the library wines.
The Hyland vineyard, Coury clone, and Kelly Fox all have tremendous reputations, so I went for that.
I'd be happy to trade out a couple for other Kelly Fox wines, or equivalent.

For my order tomorrow, who do you use for shipping to Colorado? The address I use depends on the answer. Thanks!
I can use whom ever works best for you.
Go Broncos! (I'm originally from Denver)
Go Seahawks!! (AFC West rivalries never die...)
