I will be in Bar Harbor the nights of Thursday and Friday, 23 and 24 June. If any other board members happen to be in or near there, I would be interested in an OL, either at a BYOB or at Havana. I haven’t yet been to Havana but I hear the grub is good and the wine list I know is extraordinary.

I used to be the Wine Director at Havanna in the summer of 2007. The wine list is deep. There are always hidden gems there, and the food was amazing the summer I worked there. If you have not been to the other side of the island, I’ll be working at Sawyer’s Specialties in Southwest Harbor that Friday from 10ish to 3ish. I’m not sure what condition I’ll be in, but assuming all goes well I’d love to meet up with you to share a glass of wine.
