Hey folks, anyone part of or aware of friendly tasting groups in DC? My cellar is building thanks to auction purchases and I am very interested in exploring, but I have no interest in $200 wine dinners populated by one good bottle and five I wouldn’t consider buying. if you considered renting storage space… there’s usually a group that gathers at the domaine storage on saturdays… sometimes there’s a theme… other times people just bring a bottle of two and share…
Noah, most of the ones I’ve found are pretty established and not accepting new members. Such as folks like us who are relatively new to collecting. But if you wanted to start a new one I’d bet you’d find some interested folks here. Like me!
