Mourvedre: The 2016 Mourvèdre is fresh and juicy and almost too easy to drink! Darker than the 2015, and a great reflection of Futernick Vineyard, which seems to love giving birth to fresh and aromatic wines. Volcanic soils at 2800 feet! Dark berries and a little funk. Concrete aged, unfined and unfiltered.

Albarino: The Paragon Vineyard in the Western Edna Valley AVA is a cool, windy, coastal site, and the block I sourced the 2018 Albariño from has good calcarious content, keeping acid vibrant, but adding a bit of texture. The particularly cool nights retains lots of classic Albariño acidity, while during the day, the intense California sun advances aromatics, creating a deeply floral wine.
Chardonnay: A stripped down Chardonnay from one of the oldest, most historic vineyards in Santa Barbra county (originally planted in 1971). Elegant, light, stony and saline, with a touch of classic Santa Maria Valley tropical fruit. The vineyard has sandy soils and receives constant cooling winds from the nearby Pacific. Sourced, picked and made with an eye for creating a pure expression of Chardonnay and the Santa Maria Valley.
